The Run Stoke Method
Training should be fun
Feel better and more energized after your daily runs and look forward to your hard workouts. The best training plan is the one you look forward to following. More fun means more consistent training, which means better results.
Training = Work + Rest
By following this formula, you will get the most out of your training. Emphasizing recovery as part of the training process ensures that you can push harder during workouts, prevent injuries, and perform better on race day without burning out.
Training should be sustainable
Improvement doesn’t happen overnight, it takes consistently showing up to training healthy and motivated. Run Stoke takes a holistic approach and places an emphasis on recovery, meaning you get the maximum benefit from your hard work.
Long term development and success
While we can work together to achieve short-term gains, the focus will be on sustainable growth over the long term. This means focusing on staying healthy, having fun, and training smart. And putting in work like a boss.
Training should be individual
Everyone responds to training differently. We will work together to find what training works best for you. Training will be catered to your needs and we’ll adjust the plan whenever life happens
Train with purpose
Each training session has a purpose and works towards the same goal: running faster, smoother, with less injuries and more fun. We will bring focus to your training and dial in each training day to maximize your fitness gains.
What #RunStokeRunners are saying…
From the fireline to the finish line 🔥
Bringing a career in wildland fire suppression experience to endurance training. I have seen success applying what I learned in fire to run training. Some of my notable running achievements are a 2nd place finish at Lake Sonoma 50k and 3rd place finish at the American River 25 mile.
